About Dallas Colleges Online

Dallas Colleges Online advises and enrolls students who take 100% online classes from the seven Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) colleges: Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake and Richland colleges. Online options include associate degrees, certificates, transfer opportunities, career training programs and workforce development services for businesses.

Distance learning has been part of the DCCCD since 1972, with help from the LeCroy Center. For over 40 years, the LeCroy Center has offered technology-based services for both distance and blended education. This has led to more than 17,000 students enrolling through Dallas Colleges Online annually.

Accreditation

Dallas Colleges Online offers 100% online classes and degrees that are accredited by the DCCCD colleges: Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake and Richland colleges. Our seven colleges are individually accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

State Authorization

The United States Department of Education requires all institutions of higher education to be certified in any state in which they have students. Dallas Colleges Online, on behalf of the colleges of the DCCCD, is authorized to offer online programs in 24 states.
