As a student, you can take advantage of financial education tools offered by
Dallas County Community College District has partnered with Transformance (formerly named Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas) and the
Dallas Women’s Foundation to provide free, confidential one-on-one financial counseling and free money management classes to students at all seven colleges of DCCCD.
The new program, C2: SAFE, is free and is designed to help you manage your money.
Free services include:
Financial Counseling/Coaching – Work one-on-one with a certified counselor to design a plan that will help you manage your money. Learn how to budget for short-term and long-term needs and arrange a plan to keep you out of the red.
Financial Webinars/Workshops – Take advantage of short online and in-person workshops on managing your credit, saving for your future goals, getting out of debt and much more.
As an added benefit for income-eligible students, Transformance's A.I.M. (Accountable-Inspirational-Motivational) program will help you learn to save money each month. For every dollar you deposit into a special savings account, the program will match your deposit up to $25 per month with a $300 annual maximum.
