International Honors Certificate

You go to the Dallas Colleges Online home page, (as you do every day, of course) and scrolling across the home page you see something about something called “International Honors Certificates.

You, in your continued thirst for wisdom and knowledge, click the banner and it takes you to a page on the DCCCD website called “Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Certificates.

Finally, you think to yourself, “I’m not a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I think we’re done here.”

Here’s what you need to know: the International Honors Certificates (IHC) are online courses that will help you earn a university certificate for affordable DCCCD rates. That means no extra cost for books and fees since it’s all online.

(I’ll pause for your celebratory Tiger Woods-esque fist pump.)

Still with me? OK, so the IHC plans only require you to take one three-credit hour class that you can complete in as little as four to six weeks.

Doesn’t sound too bad right?

Now let’s go over your eligibility. We talked about you being scared off by that “Phi Theta Kappa” part. Don’t be. You don’t need to be a member to enroll! You just need to be a student at a DCCCD college, have already completed 12 credit hours and maintain a GPA of at least 3.5.

Finally, all IHC courses are offered on a Pass/Fail basis only. You pass and you get a grade of “CR” on your transcript; don’t pass and you’ll get an “F.”

Don’t get an “F.” Nobody wants an “F.”

Check out the full list of IHC courses you can take, enroll and earn your certificate soon!
