The registration process is different depending on the type of classes you want to take.

After you have completed the
advisement process, you can register for credit classes in one of two ways:
Visit the Admissions/Registrar’s Office at the college you plan to attend.
If you are new to the colleges of DCCCD, we strongly recommend that you register in person so you can get information about course prerequisites, the degrees we offer, the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), tuition and other important topics.

Before you register, check our
class schedules to see the credit courses offered for the upcoming term. Schedules are available online two weeks before priority registration begins.

If you miss registration for regular semester-length classes, don’t forget that you can still register for
Flex Term classes.
Register early to get the best selection of classes. The date your tuition is due depends on the date you register — see Payment Due Dates for more information.

If you are using eConnect's "Find Classes & Register/Add", you must leave
including Dallas Colleges Online. Online classes have INET for Lecture and Lab (if a lab exists) in the "Class Meeting Information" column and no notes indicating any required on-campus meetings.
If you have difficulty registering via eConnect, please submit a
class request to Dallas Colleges Online. An advisor can assist you.
It is helpful to request sections that have multiple openings. Use
Express Class Search to check openings.
You may need to provide
proof of meningitis vaccination to register.
Students cannot register late for regular semester-length credit classes. (The last day of registration varies by semester.) Be sure to register early to get the first choice of classes and class times!
Under Texas law (TEC Section 51.907), if you drop too many classes without having an acceptable reason,
your GPA could be affected. Be sure you understand how this law may affect you before you drop a class.This law applies to students who enroll in a Texas public institution of higher education (including
Dallas Colleges Online) for the first time in fall 2007 or later. Under this law, you may not drop more than six classes without an acceptable reason during your entire undergraduate career without penalty. For more information, please see our
