Allan E. Meagher
Irving City Councilman, Place 3“DCCCD programs give people of all ages the opportunity to complete a degree program. The instructors at North Lake were able to get the students involved and interested in the class programs. While working full-time and raising three children, I was still able to take classes and become involved in community projects.
“As a direct result of a government class that I completed at North Lake College, I became very active in city government, which led to running for a seat on the Irving City Council. My DCCCD education has helped me apply the knowledge I gained to real-world experience.”
